Chris and Katie

How adorable is this couple! It was really fun designing their big day. Katie and Christ came to KP very early in the their planning, so we were so excited to help with everything from venue to photographer!

The Vendor Team
Flowers & Event Design: KP Event Design
Photographer: Kenny Felt Photography
Venue: 1890 Event Space
DJ: Platinum KC

Design Overview: Soft and romantic was the overall theme! The couple really wanted everything to feel intimate and inviting while still having an average size wedding. To do this we used a mix of lush and wild blooms like peonies and veronica. For color we used soft spring colors like soft blue, coral, peach, blush, white, pink and orange.

The day was perfect! With a little rain in the morning it let up right before the outside ceremony at 1890. Kenny Felt Photography did an amazing job!!! We love working with him, he has creativity and a willingness to go above and beyond....like climbing on the roof of 1890 to get a full wedding picture for the bride. I mean come on who does that!!!

The Bride carried a soft, but textured bouquet of peonies, garden roses, ranunculus, spray roses, dusty miller, succulents, muscari. We hand wrapped her bouquet in a soft white ribbon with a crystal accent.

The groom wore a romantic, colorful boutonniere of pink/coral ranunculus, white spray rose, muscari, dusty miller and blueplurum.

Katie's father walked her down the aisle. The bridal party was intimate with a maid of honor, best man, and two little ring bearers.

I love how everything was so fresh and clean for this wedding!! We truly embraced spring elements with lots of soft textures and I think it really shows!

For the reception the couple really wanted something that was a little different, but still romantic. We decided to create these amazing lamp centerpieces that light up as the sun was going down. I love how they turned out. We accented each table with a colored soft blue base to add a little something extra and to really bring in that blue that we just couldn't match in flowers.

Have fun with your centerpieces and embrace color!!

The romantic glow of this centerpieces, I love!! Its interesting both when the sun is up and when the sun goes down!
And can we just talk about the quality of these pictures for a moment!! Kenny Felt is some kind of rockstar!!! I LOVE how he lets the true colors show! This is how we design them in the studio and I love when I get pictures back and they look the same, without so many filters.

Chris and Katie are just so cute together! I love how in love they are. I could tell from our first meeting Katie was worried about meeting everything that Chris would love and Chris wanted nothing more than to give Katie the wedding of her dreams! They truly just cared so much about each other ....It was just adorable!!

Here are just a few more pictures from Kenny of their big day that I wanted to share with you!

Clint and Chelsea's Big Day

Clint and Chelsea's Big Day

Chelsea and Clint are honestly two of the nicest people I have ever had the pleasure of working with! From our first meeting, their wedding goal was to bring personal detail into their wedding.

Vendor Team:
Flowers and Event design: KP Event Design
Wedding Planner: Confetti Events
Photographer: BeauVaughn Photography
Venue: The Revelry Kansas City
Linen Rentals: KP Event Design and All Seasons
Cake: Adorn Cake

Our color Pallet for this event was a mix of soft pink and peach tones, mixed with green and white.

The overall style was romantic and whimsical along with several beer tributes for a personal touch!

The Bride carried a full and romantic bouquet of garden roses, dahlias, ranunculus, hydrangea and nandina. We hand wrapped her bouquet in a peach ribbon accented with a family rosary wrapped around the base.

The Groom and Groomsmen wore a simple white ranunculus boutonniere accented with several mixed greens.

And can we just gush over this dress for a moment! How pretty!

A beautiful ceremony took place at Our Lady of Sorrow in Kansas City.

Chelsea's father walked her down the aisle. I love this picture by BeauVaughn Photography amazing!

The flower girl wore a simple floral crown that was made up of spray roses, astilbe, and mixed greens. She also carried the brides toss bouquet down the aisle ...Adorable right!!

Confetti Events designed an amazing ceremony send off with lighted balloons that were released in perfect timing!! These ladies know what they are doing!

The reception took place at The Revelry in the Crossroads. Now, I have to say just how amazing the Revelry was to work with! After having an unpleasant time with another venue, Confetti Events was able to line up the Revelry and they were a joy to work with!! This is why you hire a wedding planner to handle these situations and have no stress! Well done Confetti Events and The Revelry because of you, this wedding turned out amazing!

Navy blue sequin linens rented by KP Event Design accented with mix floral bottles and votive candles greeted guests as they came to the reception.

A custom wood wall designed and rented by KP was the perfect backdrop for the head table. Accented with string bulb lights this rustic wall was perfect to frame the couple!

Lush and rustic full centerpieces graced the half of the tables around the room with the other half, having mixed floral bottles including beer growlers! Each sat on rustic barn wood!

Ebbing Wedding!!

We are so blessed and lucky to get to work with such fun couples!! From our first meeting our lovely bride Jaclyn said "I love texture!!" and poof that was the theme of the whole event!!

Colors: Rich, vibrant tones of orange, purple, blue, yellow, green, gold and pink! (How awesome to get to work with this many amazing colors in one event!!)

Bloom types: Anything with lots of texture! Orchids, thistle, billy balls, cox comb, garden roses, seeded euc. and so much more!!

The Bride wore simple bold blooms in her hair. We used mixed greens, seeded euc and ranunculus.

She carried a bouquet that was full of texture and color including protea, orchids, gold succulents, thistle and much more! For added detail we places several pieces of her grandmothers jewelry in her bouquet among the flowers. We hand wrapped her bouquet in a doyle from her grandma and a delicate snowflake necklaces the groom gave his mother for his first Christmas!

The Groom and Groomsmen wore fun textured boutonnieres of thistle, billy balls, pods and seeded euc. Each were wrapped in twine for added texture!

The ceremony was a beautiful outside ceremony right on the Lake of the Ozarks. We created wonderful vintage door altar to frame the couple graced with fun textured florals!

At the reception we created fun mix bottle centerpieces loaded with textured florals! Each centerpieces was a little different and several of the tables held song quotes that each have special meaning to the bride and groom. Navy lace runners and wood bases added even more color and texture to each table.

To Jaclyn and Nat,

Thank you for letting KP help bring this day to life! You are a truly beautiful couple and your kindness and spunk is amazing! I hope that as you both grow together as a married couple, you embrace what makes you different!

All the very best in your new life as one!
